SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Milo’s Hamburgers, the home of the original saucy burger, has its official opening date for the new Sylacauga location.
Sylacauga’s new Milo’s, located off of Hwy 280 in Payton Park, is the 23rd location in Alabama and will be open for business on Thursday, June 9.
“For the past 76 years Milo’s has been serving fans across the state of Alabama,” said Tom Dekle, CEO of Milo’s Hamburgers. “As part of our location selection strategy, we use Milo’s Burger Bus to help us find potential new markets to plant a store. We started bringing the Burger Bus to Sylacauga a few months ago and the response was incredible. We are thrilled to be a part of the Sylacauga community.”
Founded in 1946 by Milo Carlton, Milo’s Hamburgers is home to the famous original saucy burger with a little extra piece of meat – called the little something extra.
“We try to always give a little something extra in all we do; it has become the Milo’s motto,” said marketing director Mary Duncan Proctor. “During the grand opening celebration, Milo’s plans to give a little something extra in a number of unique and exciting ways.”
From June 9-11, the first 100 customers each day will receive a free menu item along with some merchandise. Here’s what each customer will get the first three days if they arrive early:
Thursday, June 9 – a bottle of Milo’s Famous Sauce and a coupon for a free original cheeseburger
Friday, June 10 – a Milo’s hat and a coupon for a free original chicken sandwich
Saturday, June 11 – a coffee tumbler and a coupon for a free regular shake of choice
Continuing to strive and give “a little something extra,” Milo’s is partnering with local non-profits within the first few weeks of opening the Sylacauga location.
For the grand opening week, Milo’s will donate 20 percent of all Junior Meal sales to Alabama Childhood Food Solutions (ACFS).
Milo’s hours of operation will be from 10:30 a.m. until 9:00 p.m. all seven days of the week.
