One of the most dynamic football players and athletes to recently come through Sylacauga High School has made his college football decision.
Caleb Burns announced on Twitter last night he will attend Hutchinson Community College in Kansas. The school is 13 hours from Sylacauga.

Burns was a receiver for the Aggies last season, but is also a bruising running back. Burns has also played many snaps on defense, including safety and linebacker. Overall, Burns is a versatile weapon that the Blue Dragons will easily find a way to make use of.
Why would Burns journey this far from home? Its simple. HCC is known for sending players to the Division I ranks after doing a season or two in Kansas. 49 players have transferred to D1 schools in the last two years. Nineteen of those to Power 5 schools. Many players from HCC are now in the NFL.
Burns will sign his scholarship tomorrow at SHS.
