SYLACAUGA, Ala. – RadioAlabama’s Yea!106.5 begins its coverage of Sylacauga High School baseball Friday night with the Shop-N-Fill Sylacauga High School Baseball Game of the Week.
“We’re excited to be back with our coverage of Sylacauga High School sports,” said Michael Brannon. Brannon is the Vice President of RadioAlabama. “Sylacauga athletics are exceptional across the board. We were very fortunate to be a part of a state title as our network covered the Sylacauga High School basketball program. We’re looking forward to another potential title run for the Aggies in baseball.”
Friday night’s match-up will feature the Aggies and their rival from just west on Hwy. 280, the Childersburg Tigers.
The Aggies are 11-1 on their 2018 campaign and won the Talladega County Tournament in late February. Sylacauga’s only loss came Wednesday night on the road at Chelsea by a score of 1-9. Sylacauga will take the field versus Childersburg in its newly renovated state-of-the-art park on Friday after taking down Jemison on the road on Thursday.
