SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga’s newest veterinarian held its grand opening ceremony Friday morning.
Sylacauga Veterinary Hospital, a general veterinary practice specializing in care for dogs, cats and limited large animal healthcare, is owned by Andrew Gilliland, a Sylacauga native returning home.
“We’ve been looking forward to this for a long time. Being able to come back home is refreshing and wholesome,” Gilliland. “My family has deep roots here, so it just feels good to be back.
SVH has been seeing patients around a week after a soft opening. Pet owners will notice the practice offers advanced imaging alongside being a full-service practice with surgeries and preventative and internal medicine.
