SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Christmas Tree Lighting is set for Sunday, Dec. 1, with festivities beginning at 3:30 p.m. in Central Park.
Families can enjoy the Tinsel Trail, featuring decorated trees by local groups, before following Santa to City Hall for the 5:30 p.m. lighting of the Big Tree.
The free event offers activities for all ages, including a snow pit, face painting, hot chocolate, a photo booth, and a North Pole train. Santa will be available for pictures, and live Christmas music will fill the air.
This year’s Christmas Tree Lighting is sponsored by First Bank of Alabama.
