SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga S Club is looking to giveback to area coaches next week with a special dinner and fellowship opportunity.
Tim Allen, owner of Allen Brew Markets in Sylacauga, told SylacaugaNews.com a special appreciation dinner honoring Sylacauga’s coaches from elementary, middle, and high school sports will be held Tuesday, Dec. 1 at Harvey’s on Noble.
“We’re just getting this started,” said Allen. “We want it to develop into an annual event. We want to show appreciation to our coaches and tell them thank you for working with our kids.”
This year’s event is a closed event only for coaches, spouses, special guests, and S Club members. Allen hopes next year it can be a bigger and more people can attend to honor the coaches.
The event is sponsored by Farr Construction, Allen Brew Markets, Heritage Plastics, M&N Alloy, Reams Construction, and Southern Alloy.
