SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department is investigating a Tuesday, July 3, robbery at O’Reilly Auto Parts on W. Fort Williams St. and asking for help identifying the person responsible.
At around 9:30 p.m., a black male reportedly entered the business waving a hand gun and demanded the cashier give him his money and the money from the store. The suspect then ordered the two employees into the restroom and left with an undetermined amount of cash.
Witnesses told investigators that the 6′-6’4″ slender-build suspect ran behind Sonic Drive In and onto N. Elm Ave.
