SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Families in Sylacauga can look forward to an evening of fun at the sensory-friendly Family Game Night hosted by Sylacauga Parks and Recreation. The free event will take place Friday, Jan. 24, at the J. Craig Smith Community Center.
Designed with all ages and abilities in mind, the event will feature interactive games such as skee ball, giant checkers, tic-tac-toe, basket toss, vintage video games, and a basketball arcade game.
Special sensory-friendly activities and adjustments, including modified lighting and sound, will create a welcoming environment for attendees with sensory sensitivities.
