SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Parks and Recreation will host its second annual Fall Festival on Saturday, Oct. 25, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Central Park. The free, family-friendly event will feature live music, food trucks, games, prizes, and activities for all ages.
Sponsored by Pathway Pediatrics, OMYA and Radney-Smith Funeral Home, the festival will include trunk-or-treating, inflatables, a balloon artist, face painting, and music provided by RadioAlabama. Children are encouraged to come in costume and bring candy buckets for trick-or-treating.
Food vendors will include Gypsy Pies, O My Turkey Leg, Big Boys Wings, Bulldog BBQ, Pelican’s Snoballs, Sweet Thangz, among others.
More than 30 local organizations and businesses are donating their time and services to support the event, including Coosa Valley Medical Center, Heritage South Credit Union, Chick-fil-A, and Harvey’s on Noble.
“We had over 1,100 people attend last year, and we’re looking forward to an even bigger crowd this year,” said Lauren Layton, Special Events Coordinator at Sylacauga Parks and Recreation.
