SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Parks and Recreation will host a community tennis tournament on Friday, Aug. 15 and Saturday, Aug. 16 at the Beth Yates Park tennis courts.
Open to players of all ages and skill levels, the tournament features divisions for 12 and under, 13–18, 40 and over, and an open competition. Participants can compete in singles, doubles, and mixed doubles, with each division guaranteeing a minimum of two matches. Doubles and mixed doubles will follow an open draw format, offering flexible pairings and dynamic matchups.
Registration costs $25 per division. Matches begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday and resume at 8:30 a.m. Saturday morning.
The event is designed to promote community engagement through competitive play while keeping participation affordable.
