SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Parks and Recreation have announced the introduction of craft classes for adults, starting Thursday, July 6, at 6:00 p.m.
The inaugural class, led by Jodi Courington, will kick off the series with a “Christmas in July” theme, setting the stage for the holiday season later this year.
Throughout July, participants can immerse themselves in exciting projects, starting with crafting Christmas cards, and including mod podge on wood tutorials featuring earrings and ornaments on July 13, crafting Christmas ornaments on July 20, and creating wood gnomes on July 27.
The first class on July 6 will focus on card-making, where attendees will learn various fun folds to create four unique Christmas cards.
The J. Craig Smith Community Center will host the class each Thursday in July at 6:00 p.m.
