SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Parks and Recreation invites families to celebrate the end of summer at a Back 2 School Bash on Friday, August 1, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Noble Park.
This free community event, sponsored by Curtis and Son Funeral Home, will be an evening full of fun, food, and festivities for all ages.
The event will feature live music from the ever-popular DJ Weechie, who will keep the party going with great tunes throughout the evening. Kids can enjoy a variety of activities including inflatables, the newly updated playground, and the skate park.

A delicious selection of food will be available for purchase from some of the area’s favorite food trucks. Attendees can grab dinner or snacks from O’ My Turkey Leg, Aww Shucks, A Dab of This and A Dab of That, and Frost Bite Snacks.
A key feature of the evening is the Fourth Annual Peyton Embry School Supply Giveaway, presented by DeCorey Hale and The BlueHeart Foundation 334.
This cherished tradition helps ensure local children are prepared for the upcoming school year. Organizers are proud to once again work alongside The BlueHeart Foundation to continue growing the event and expanding its impact. The giveaway is supported by a strong network of community partners.
The Back to School Bash is a celebration of community connection and support for Sylacauga’s families. Everyone is invited to come out and enjoy a fun, festive evening while helping local children get ready for a successful school year.
