SYLACAUGA, Ala. – After a successful Concert in the Park event last Friday night, the Sylacauga Parks and Recreation are gearing up for its next event, Movie in the Park.
The Parks and Rec will be hosting Movie in the Park, an event sponsored by Heritage South Credit Union. Movie in the Park will take place on Saturday, Aug. 27, at Central Park across from Blue Bell Creameries.
The festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. that night when a famous webbed superhero will swing by for a meet and greet/ photo op with those in attendance.
Then, at 7:00 p.m. the feature film Spiderman: No Way Home will be shown. At around 9:30 p.m. the movie will finish.
Ernie’s Hotdogs and Pelican’s Snoballs will be selling concessions and Heritage South will be selling popcorn, candy, and drinks to raise money for charity.
The Sylacauga Parks and Rec is excited to host Movie in the Park and hopes to make this a regular occurrence for the community.
