SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Parks and Recreation will be hosting an exciting Basketball Shoot-out set to take place at the J. Craig Smith Community Center gym on Friday, Feb. 23, starting at 5:30 p.m.
This event will include two competitions tailored for boys and girls aged 8-15. The lineup includes a skills competition and a three-point shootout.
Participants will showcase their abilities in the skills challenge, which features a timed dribble, pass, and shoot obstacle course. Age groups 8-10, 11-12, and 13-15 will vie for top honors in this contest.
With only 10 slots available per age group, players are encouraged to secure their spots. Registration, priced at $10, can be completed online at sylacauga.recdesk.com under the Special Events category.
Prizes will be awarded to the top two performers in each age category.
