COOSA COUNTY, Ala. – The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency has identified the man killed in a hit-and-run on Hwy. 280.
ALEA said in a press release Marcaus Odem, 43, was struck by a vehicle on Hwy. 280 near Goodwater around 10:30 Saturday night.
ALEA’s release states Odem was walking in the roadway when a vehicle which is unknown, struck him causing fatal injuries. Odem was pronounced dead at the scene.
Nothing further is available as state troopers continue to investigate.
