Sylacauga man killed in early morning accident


SYLACAUGA, Ala. – A Sylacauga man was killed in a one-vehicle accident early Saturday morning.

Alabama State Troopers responded to an accident reported at 1:05 a.m. on Coleman Road in Sylacauga.

Antwoine Carter, 26, of Sylacauga, died of injuries sustained from the accident.

Carter was transported by Childersburg Ambulance Service to Coosa Valley Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.

Carter was the driver of the vehicle and there were no passengers.
