SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga High School Library Club coordinates the Adopt an Angel service project every Christmas, and this year a record forty-six angels were adopted by various clubs, students, teachers, and staff.
The generous project allows local children to receive their Santa wish list for Christmas. The forty-six angels ranged in age from three months to eight years old. Students participating in the Adopt an Angel service project have expressed their excitement to shop for others, knowing they will make a child happy on Christmas Day.
The Library Club began this meaningful project in 2004 with the assistance of the Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement.
