SYLACAUGA, Ala. – This afternoon, the Sylacauga High School’s (SHS) jazz band held a live concert at the RadioAlabama studios.
The Marbled Blues performed from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m.
Director Samuel Childs had his students prepared to play a number of pieces including one with a vocalist, Laila Nix. Almost all of the songs feature one or more soloists on a range of instruments.
The concert played live on MIX 106.5 and was streamed on SylacaugaNews.com’s Facebook page.
