SYLACAUGA, Ala. – In an open letter to the Mayor and current Council members, Antonio “AJ” Stamps – Candidate For District 2 City Council has conceded the election to incumbent Tiffany Nix.

First and foremost, I want to extend my deepest gratitude to my campaign team, my supporters, and every single person who prayed, encouraged, and stood with me during this journey. Your faith in me has meant more than words can express.

After much prayer and thoughtful consideration, I have decided to concede this runoff election with Tiffany Nix. I will stand beside her as she continues the work she has been doing for Sylacauga. Together, I look forward to pushing forward the vision for District 2 and working to make our city stronger, better, and united.

I firmly believe that the change we all desire must first begin within us. So, let’s make a collective motion to lead by example, to serve with integrity, and to be the difference we want to see.

This isn’t the end—it’s a pivotal moment for a greater purpose. Let’s move forward, together.
