Sylacauga Community Playhouse’s junior production of The Lion King opens tonight


SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Community Playhouse’s (SCP) annual kids production begins tonight, and the Circle of Life for these young thespians continues with The Lion King.

Friday, July 15, and Saturday, July 16, performances will start at 6:30 p.m. with the closing show on Sunday, July 17, taking place at 2:00 p.m.

All shows will take place at the Sylacauga High School auditorium.

Advance tickets for The Lion King are $10 a person. You can purchase tickets from any cast or crew member, at, or by calling (256) 369-3003.

If you’d rather buy tickets at the door, they will be $12 at the venue.
