SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Community Playhouse will present Disney’s Frozen Jr. on Thursday and Friday, July 17–18, at 6:30 p.m., and Saturday, July 19, at 2:30 p.m. at the Sylacauga High School auditorium.

Co-directed by LaKeisha Crocker and AshLiegh Johnson, with choreography by Lexie Wimmer, Frozen Jr. brings the beloved tale of Elsa, Anna, and the kingdom of Arendelle to life on stage. The production features songs from the original animated film, along with five new numbers from the 2018 Broadway adaptation, with music by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
A story of love and acceptance between sisters, the show explores the emotional bond between Princesses Anna and Elsa as they face danger and discover their hidden strengths.
Founded in the late 1970s, the Sylacauga Community Playhouse became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2016. It continues its mission of offering theatrical experiences for all ages, including individuals with intellectual and physical challenges.
