SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga Police Chief Kelley Johnson told SylacaugaNews.com Friday morning all city streets and roads are closed, effective immediately, due to hazardous driving conditions from winter weather. The cities of Lincoln and Talladega have implemented the same mandate.
City crews are sanding and treating roadways. This does not yet apply to roads under state and federal control.
