SYLACAUGA, Ala. – With the 2021-2022 school year now underway, schedules are as follows.
Indian Valley Elementary School:
Morning car rider drop-off begins at 7:20 a.m. Students should go directly to their teacher’s classroom. Staff will be stationed throughout the school to assist.
All students in Kindergarten through Second Grade should be dropped off in the car rider line. Pre-K only should be dropped off in the front at 7:30 a.m.
Students are Tardy at 7:45 a.m.
The car rider line will close at 7:45 a.m. Parents will need to drive to the front of the school and sign in their child. At this time, students are considered tardy.
Please do not leave students at the door if it is closed.
Students are dismissed as a car rider, bus rider, and walker at 2:45 p.m. There are no check-outs after 2:15 p.m. Assigned car tags are needed to pick up students from the car rider line in the afternoon.
Pinecrest Elementary School:
Car rider drop-off begins at 7:40 a.m and closes at 8:05 a.m. After 8:05 a.m, parents must check their child in with the front office. Students are tardy at 8:15 a.m.
Students are dismissed each day at 3:10 p.m.
If a parent does not have a car rider tag, they must park and visit the front office to get their student.
Nichols Lawson Middle School:
Car rider drop-off begins at 7:10 a.m., and students are tardy at 7:40 a.m. After 7:40 a.m., parents must check their child in with the front office.
Students are dismissed at 2:40 p.m.
Sylacauga High School:
Students may enter the school starting at 7:15 a.m. The tardy bell rings at 7:50 a.m. Students are dismissed at 3:20 p.m.
