SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Four teachers within the Sylacauga City School (SCS) system have been selected as Teachers of the Year.
The SCS system chose one teacher from each of the four schools that make up the SCS. These educators will be honored on Tuesday, Jan. 25, at the SCS Board of Education meeting.
First grade teacher Mrs. Amy Hill was selected from Indian Valley Elementary.
From Pinecrest Elementary, third grade teacher Mrs. Rita Jones was chosen.
Band and choir director Mr. Taylor Mullis was picked from Nichols-Lawson Middle School.
Sylacauga High School’s selection was photography teacher Mr. Jimmy Reynolds, Jr.
