Sylacauga City Schools open to feed students this summer

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Children 18 and under will not go hungry this summer in the city of Sylacauga.

Sylacauga City Schools announced on Friday two of its campuses will be open during summer break to feed students.

Nichols-Lawson Middle School will be open Monday thru Thursday from May 28 to June 6 from 11:30-12:00.

Indian Valley Elementary School will be open Monday thru Thursday from May 28 thru July 18. IVES will offer both breakfast and lunch. Breakfast will be served from 8:00-8:45. Lunch is available from noon to 1:00.

No food will be served July 4-5.

The meals are free to any children age 18 and under, regardless if they are enrolled at Sylacauga City Schools.
