SYLACAUGA, Ala. – To celebrate the 30th Anniversary in August 2018, the Sylacauga City Schools Foundation launched the “30 for 30 Campaign” where supporters of the Foundation could contribute $30 for 30 months.
On Tuesday, April 6, at the quarterly board meeting 10 donors who have reached this goal of $900 in contributions were recognized by presenting them with a crystal gift of appreciation. The following were the recipients:
The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce represented by Laura Strickland
Mr. Greg Atkinson
Mrs. Debbie Barnett
Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Craddock
Mrs. Lydia Davis
Mr. and Mrs. Tripp Dickson
Mr. Lee Perryman
Mrs. Amy Price
Mr. and Mrs. Gary Rivers
Mrs. Amanda Thomas
The campaign ended in January 2021; however, there are several other ways for the community of Sylacauga to contribute—memorials and honorariums, purchasing a paver/marble through the Aggie Walk Brick Campaign, being a corporate sponsor for our annual 5K/10K Run, and supporting a pending or new Chair.
If you are interested in making a difference in the success of the students of Sylacauga City Schools, mail contributions to the attention of Mrs. Carol Sprayberry, Executive Director, 43 North Broadway, Sylacauga, AL 35150.
