SYLACAUGA, Ala. – In a statement just before 10:30 Monday morning, Sylacauga City Schools announced it will be dismissing early.
Indian Valley Elementary School and Nichols-Lawson Middle School will dismiss at 12:30 p.m. Pinecrest Elementary School will dismiss at 12:45 p.m., and Sylacauga High School will dismiss at 1:00 p.m.
Schools will be closed Tuesday and the anticipated return date is April 6.
SCS officials say information will be on the school’s website and district Facebook page.
