SYLACAUGA, Ala. — The Sylacauga City Council will hold a special called meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 13, at 6:00 p.m. in the Mayor’s Conference Room on the second floor of City Hall to conduct a budget work session for city departments and related entities.
According to the meeting notice, the session will focus on budget discussions involving four city contract entities — EARTH, the Coosa Valley Rescue Squad, the Sylacauga Airport Authority, and the Industrial Development Board — along with consideration of capital requests submitted by other parties.
The meeting was called by City Council President Tiffany Nix and will be open to the public. A quorum of council members is expected to be present.
