SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga City Council will meet Tuesday night at Sylacauga City Hall.
The council will hold a work session at 5:00 with the meeting following shortly after.
- Resolution 62-2020 approving project and committing funds to widen and resurface James Payton Blvd (shared cost in the amount of $250,000 by ALDOT).
- Resolution 63-2020 authorizing agreement with EEFS to prepare application for ATRIP II funding.
- Resolution 64-2020 authorizing ATRIP II application for Walnut Road culvert replacement at SR21.
- Resolution 65-2020 authorizing agreement with InSite Engineering for professional services related to the improvements to the Hickory Street ditch.
- Application for 050 Retail Beer (off premises only) and 070 Retail Table Wine (off premises only)
from Denson Dewayne Thornton of D Thornton, LLC, DBA P and B One Stop located at 807 West Park Street, Sylacauga.
- Appointment to Library Board – four-year term of James Clark expiring October, 2020. Janice Adams was the only applicant.
- Appointment to Commercial Development Authority – four-year term of Ann Pruitt expired March 15, 2019. Ryan Coleman was the only applicant.
- Appointment to Airport Authority – six-year term of Tommy Dobson expired August 14, 2020.
- Appointment to Airport Authority – six-year term of Jack Mitchell expired August 14, 2020.
- Authorize seeking bids for various landscape and horticultural services for City of Sylacauga green spaces.
- August payroll in the amount of $404,464.49.
- Balance of Accounts Payable for August in the amount of $152,547.70.
Approximately 15 minutes after the work session, the council will have its meeting in the council chamber. Here is the proposed agenda:
