SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga City Council is set to meet for the first time this month, next Tues. Dec. 5.
The council has three things on the proposed agenda to be discussed:
- Request from Street Supt. Reed Calfee for authorization to post four Construction Worker I positions at pay grade SM-1 (pay range is $20,917.95 to $29,175.46) in the Street Department; (four new CW-1 positions included in FY18 budget).
- Approval of accounts payable received to date for November in the amount of $38,226.09.
- Approval of additional FY17 accounts payable received in the amount of $19,925.83.
The City Council will be meeting with Harry Ward and Lawrence Wilson of Engineering Design Technologies, Inc. concerning a 2018 TAP Grant at 4:00 p.m. before the council meeting. A work session will be held at 5:00 p.m. with the council meeting following at 6:00 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend.
