SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga City Council will have a called special meeting on Friday. The meeting was called by City Council President Lee Perryman.
The meeting is set for 11:15 a.m. in the Faye Hosey Chambers of the Sylacauga Municipal Complex. The following items are on the agenda:
- Resolution authorizing STEP raises for eligible City employees effective with the first payroll ending in October.
- Authorization for Mayor to sign Acknowledgement of Continuance for year two of Section 5311 Agreement for Transit Services with East Alabama Regional Planning and Development Commission with requires local matching funds of $60,941
- Authorization of payment of promissory note to Sylacauga Utilities Board in the amount of $200,000 for speculative building #3.
- Authorization for Mayor to sign Challenge Cost Share Agreement between the City of Sylacauga through the Parks and Recreation Department and the USDA Forest Service.
Authorization to continue under the FY17 budgets until FY18 budgets are approved.
Approval of Accounts Payable received to date for Sept. 2017 in the amount of $86,120.93.
To consider and act upon any other business that needs to come before Council.
The meeting will be open to the public, and all citizens are invited to attend.
