SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce will host its next “State of” series event on Tuesday, April 14, featuring a State of the City address from Mayor Matt Hubbard.
The luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Sylacauga. The program will highlight updates from City Hall following the recent election of a new mayor and City Council, along with a look at upcoming initiatives and opportunities for the community.
Mayor Hubbard is expected to outline priorities for 2026 and provide insight into projects aimed at growth, infrastructure, and economic development. Chamber officials said the event is designed to keep business leaders and residents informed about the city’s direction.
The “State of” Series is presented by Central Alabama Community College in partnership with the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce.
Admission is $20 per person and includes lunch.
