SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce will host a Brown Bag Lunch & Learn program focused on scams and fraud prevention at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 31.
The event, presented by Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union, will take place from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chamber’s office. The session is part of the Chamber’s Brown Bag Lunch & Learn series, which offers expert-led discussions, practical insights, and networking opportunities for local professionals.
Guest speaker Gretta Spencer of Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union will lead the program, providing attendees with tools and strategies to identify and avoid scams. The presentation will address ways individuals, businesses, and their customers can better protect themselves against increasingly common fraud schemes.
Organizers encourage community members to attend and learn how to recognize warning signs and reduce risk in everyday transactions.
Admission is free, and participants are asked to bring their own lunch.
