SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce hosted its second annual Chamber Member Breakfast on Wednesday morning, Jan. 15, at First Baptist Church in Sylacauga, drawing over 80 attendees.
The event highlighted the Chamber’s 2024 achievements and recognized the outgoing and incoming Board of Directors.
Paige Hutto, President and CEO of Alabama Chambers, delivered the keynote address, emphasizing the vital role Chambers of Commerce play in helping to grow strong communities.
The ceremony featured the passing of the gavel from 2024 Board Chair Kimm Wright of the Pinhoti Outdoor Center to 2025 Board Chair Gretta Spencer of Coosa Pines Federal Credit Union.
Outgoing board members Donna Jones, Reverend Henry Looney, Tina Jackson, Deborah Thornton, Tanya Barrett, and Skye Owens were honored with commemorative plaques for their service.
Seven new members were welcomed to the 2025 Board of Directors:

The 2025 Board of Directors includes a diverse team of community leaders dedicated to advancing Sylacauga’s economic growth and quality of life.
