SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce will be holding its annual Christmas Open House Sunday, Nov.r 6.
The annual Christmas event begins at 1:00 p.m. and will continue through 5:00 p.m., and the Chamber has invited all chamber partners to participate even if they do not have a retail storefront. Organizers said this will be a great opportunity to welcome current and perspective customers to businesses and to share products and services.
Throughout the week prior, the Chamber will be sharing the names of those that will have their doors open.
“The Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce is so excited to kick off the Christmas Season by celebrating with our member partners as they open their doors to our community for the Annual Sylacauga Christmas Open House,” said marketing director Laura Strickland. “Retailers are excited to share those Christmas treasures that will make the perfect gift while others will have their doors open to say thank you for supporting their business and share the Christmas spirit. It’s a great afternoon for the community to gather as one and kick off this most special time of the year as we celebrate the Birth of Jesus! We Love Where We Live and We Shop Where We Love!”
On Dec. 10, the Sylacauga Christmas Parade will take place at 5:30 p.m. The theme is “Star Spangled Christmas”, and grand marshals are the Sylacauga Police Department and the Talladega County Sheriff’s Department. Applications are available at the Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce.
