SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Steady rain couldn’t dissuade a crowd of ice cream lovers from enjoying the best in the world in celebration of National Ice Cream Day in the city where it is created!
For the first time ever, the Blue Bell Creameries Ice Cream Parlor & Country Store were open on a Sunday afternoon. For years, National Ice Cream Day was celebrated in conjunction with Sylacauga Farmers Market days on late July Fridays. But this year, it happened on the actual National Ice Cream Day, and the local public enjoyed the experience! Enjoy scenes from the celebration!
