SYLACAUGA, Ala. –  On Friday King’s Mattress Gallery, formerly King’s Mattress Outlet, held a grand-opening ceremony.

Owners Russell and Angela King decided to re-brand after the business began to carry Tempur-Pedic and Sealy mattresses, two of the top-selling brands in the country.

“We decided to re-brand because we were selling a few different brands as King’s Mattress Outlet, but now we have Sealy and Tempur-Pedic,” said Angela King. “These are the nation’s most recommended and most recognized mattresses.”

According to King, her store is the only local retailer for these brands. “We are so excited to be the only local retailer for these,” she said. King’s Mattress Gallery will also carry the pillows, sheets and everything else you need for bedding.

The store will pride itself on being local and serving local people – something it has done for 25 years. “When you shop local we are here for you. When you have a need we are right down the street,” King explained.

Sylacauga Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Laura Strickland believes this re-brand will also bring others from surrounding areas to shop locally in the Marble City, bringing even more tax revenue to the city. “This is an opportunity to draw people from our surrounding region to come shop with us,” she said. “To see [Angela and Russell King] re-invest in this community is fabulous, and it means a lot to the city.”

King’s Mattress Gallery will offer multiple installment and payment options for customers. Consumers can finance their dream mattress or pay in full, and mattresses can either be delivered or carried out upon purchase.
