Sylacauga basketball will return to the court this week

SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga High School basketball was put on hold on Nov. 30 after COVID-19 exposure. The boys and girls teams are scheduled to resume practice this week.

The Aggies will have a week to get their legs underneath them with the first game back scheduled for Saturday night. That game will be against the rival Talladega Tigers.

This year, Talladega moved back up in classification in the same 5A region as the Aggies meaning this game will not only have bragging rights on the line, but also playoff implications.

The varsity girls will tipoff Saturday night at 6:00 at Talladega High School with the boys following at 7:30. Listen on the radio home of The Aggie Sports Network – MIX 106.5.
