SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Alliance for Family Enhancement is hosting a special celebration in the Sam Wright Sylacauga Grows Community Garden on Thursday, July 17, “honoring growth, health, and family.”
The event will feature Dr. Theron Hutton, Founder and Director of the Mulberry Clinic. Dr. Hutton, renowned for his discussions on how food and lifestyle impacts overall health, will share his experiences helping patients with health problems.

It’s a family-friendly affair, scheduled as a floating style event from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There are a couple specific question and answer discussions, including:
Farm to Table Food as Education – 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Food is Medicine – 4:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
There will be plenty of activities throughout the event, including the sharing of garden snacks. The Sam Wright Sylacauga Grows Garden is located at 72 Betsy Ross Ln. in Sylacauga.
