SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga 7 and 8 year old all stars softball players finished third at the Alabama Parks & Recreation Association State Tournament.
Winfield was the eventual state champion, but their only loss in the tournament was to Sylacauga.
Sylacauga had 10 girls with extra base hits in the entire tournament.
The team was managed by Jacob Bassett and his assistant coaches were Blake Payton, Matt Carpenter, and Steve Vogal.
