Sylacauga’s boys are accustomed to the spotlight and hoisting trophies, placing second as 13-year-olds and winning state as 14-year-olds.
Sylacauga Tournament Director and Manager Jamey Milam said, “The boys have worked hard, and they are ready to play. They placed 2nd in State as 13-year-olds, and they won State last year as 14-year-olds. I am hoping they win it all again at home this year. I hope everyone comes out to support them – it will be a great day of baseball.”
First pitch of the championship game is set for 6:30 at the Babe Ruth field in Sylacauga behind Noble Park.
