SYLACAUGA, Ala. – Sylacauga City Schools announced on Monday how it plans to provide food to students who rely on the school for meals.
The system will provide a ‘Curbside Grab & Go’ meal service as long as schools are closed beginning Wednesday.
SCS will have drive thru service from 11:00-noon at Nichols-Lawson Middle School, Pinecrest Elementary, and the Verlie Collins Center.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided (both meals will be given to the children at the same time and they save the breakfast bag for the next morning). SCS says no one will get out of their car, and that the program is strictly drive thru only.
