CHILDERSBURG, Ala . – Patti and Huey Scarver have put their special touches in place and are ready to start celebrating the Grand Opening of their two new Childersburg businesses – Sweet Pickins’ and ServiceMaster Janitorial.
Located at 80 River Run Rd., Sweet Pickins’ is both an antique mall, as well as a indoor market that features a wide variety of antiques, furniture, collectibles, vintage, and decorative items.
Patti is busy scheduling a wide variety of creative and crafting classes to complement the 100-plus vendor booths inside Sweet Pickins’.
“We’re so excited to be here,” said Patti, “The reception has been so warm and friendly. We’re listening to our customers and our vendors to try to make Sweet Pickins’ both a destination, as well as a regular gathering place for people throughout the region.”
Her husband, Huey, operates ServiceMaster Janitorial by Quality Service. While they can and will handle a wide variety of service needs, their primary role is in commercial and industrial janitorial services.
Both companies will be “showing off” a bit this weekend, during their two-day grand opening celebration. On Friday, Aug. 17, they celebrate from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 12:20 p.m. They’ll continue on Saturday, Aug. 18, with an Open House from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m.
