State Senators meet with constituents in Talladega

TALLADEGA, Ala. – State Senators Slade Blackwell and Jim McClendon hosted a standing-room-only meeting with constituents this morning in Talladega. Blackwell represents Senate District 15 (Jefferson, Shelby, and Talladega Counties), and McClendon represents Senate District 11 (Shelby, St. Clair, and Talladega Counties).

The Senators discussed 14 proposed constitutional amendments to appear on the Nov. 8 General Election ballot, lottery options, the BP settlement, and Medicaid.
