SYLACAUGA, Ala. – COVID-19 numbers continue to decrease across the state of Alabama.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 risk indicator, there is a low amount of COVID-19 activity in Talladega County placing it in the ‘green’ category.
Talladega County is currently reporting 8,060 positive COVID-19 cases. Talladega County has reported a total of 171 deaths due to COVID-19.
The state of Alabama alone is currently reporting 519,071 positive COVID-19 cases. Alabama has recorded 10,712 deaths due to COVID-19.
There are currently 47,967 total hospitalizations across the state.
Alabama’s mask mandate expired last week. Masks are encouraged but not required.
Remember to wash your hands, properly wear masks in public, keep your hands away from your face, and continue to practice social distancing.
