SYLACAUGA, Ala. – COVID-19 numbers are slowly decreasing in the state of Alabama .
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 risk indicator, there is a low amount of COVID-19 activity in Talladega County placing it in the ‘green’ category.
Talladega County is currently reporting 7,814 positive COVID-19 cases. Talladega County has reported a total of 167 deaths due to COVID-19.
The state of Alabama alone is currently reporting 508,717 positive COVID-19 cases. Alabama has recorded 10,337 deaths due to COVID-19.
There are currently 46,792 total hospitalizations across the state.
Alabama is under a mask ordinance until April 9 to help slow the spread of the virus.
