SYLACAUGA, Ala. – COVID-19 numbers are slowly decreasing in the state of Alabama.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 risk indicator, there is a moderate amount of COVID-19 activity in Talladega County placing it in the ‘yellow’ category.
Talladega County is currently reporting 7,407 positive COVID-19 cases. Talladega County has reported a total of 161 deaths due to COVID-19.
The state of Alabama alone is currently reporting 487,520 positive COVID-19 cases. Alabama has recorded 9,592 deaths due to COVID-19.
There are currently 45,128 total hospitalizations across the state.
Alabama is under a mask ordinance until March 5 to help slow the spread of the virus.
Remember to wash your hands, properly wear masks in public, keep your hands away from your face, and continue to practice six-feet social distancing.
