SYLACAUGA, Ala. – COVID-19 is soon to be a thing of the past in Alabama.
According to the Alabama Department of Public Health’s COVID-19 risk indicator, there is a low amount of COVID-19 activity in Talladega County placing it in the ‘green’ category.
Talladega County is currently reporting 8,400 positive COVID-19 cases. Talladega County has reported a total of 181 deaths due to COVID-19.
The state of Alabama alone is currently reporting 545,028 positive COVID-19 cases. Alabama has recorded 11,140 deaths due to COVID-19.
There are currently 50,050 total hospitalizations across the state.
Alabama is no longer under a mask mandate. Masks are encouraged but not required.
Remember to wash your hands, properly wear masks in public, keep your hands away from your face, and continue to practice social distancing.
