CHILDERSBURG, Ala. – The Alabama Department of Transportation will close one of Childersburg’s main roads tomorrow.
Weather permitting, SR-76 at US 280 will be closed for resurfacing and curb and gutter replacement. A signal detour will be posted.
The work should last around two weeks, ALDOT says.
Drivers are requested to use alternate routes if possible and adjust arrival time and departure times. ALDOT is also asking for drivers to observe work zone speed limits and work zone signs.
