SYLACAUGA, Ala. – The Sylacauga Police Department has issued a traffic advisory about an upcoming lane closure. Please be advised that on Wednesday, June 18 from 6:00 a.m. to approximately 7:00 p.m., the Sylacauga Utility Board and contractors will be working to repair power lines and poles that were damaged this past Sunday.
* Location: Hwy 21 – between Goodwater Hwy and Hwy 280
* Impact: One lane of traffic will be closed throughout the day.
The Sylacauga Police Department included the following, “We strongly encourage drivers to avoid the area and use an alternate route if possible for your safety and to allow utility crews to work efficiently.”
